The UHD-WPE230-K includes a 1-gang US Decora-style wall plate Transmitter.

This product is designed for clean HDMI wall plate installations where the source connects at the wall and the display connects at the Receiver side.

The UHD-WPE230-K supports up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4.

To get 4K@60Hz 4:4:4, the HDMI source, display, HDMI cables, CAT cable, and source output settings must all support the required signal.

IMPORTANT — Maximum Distance Depends on Resolution

The extender delivers stable signal transmission when used within the correct cable distance.

Use CAT6 / CAT6a / CAT7 cable for best performance.

Poor cable quality, weak terminations, damaged connectors, couplers, or long patching paths may reduce distance or cause signal problems.

IMPORTANT — Use Direct CAT Cable Connection

Connect the wall plate Transmitter HDBaseT OUT directly to the Receiver HDBaseT IN using CAT6 / CAT6a / CAT7 cable.

Do not connect the HDBaseT cable through:

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Install the wall plate Transmitter in the desired 1-gang wall box location. 
2. Connect the HDMI source device to HDMI IN on the wall plate Transmitter. 
   Examples include a Blu-ray player, cable box, laptop, desktop PC, game console, media player, DVR, or NVR. 
3. Connect CAT6 / CAT6a / CAT7 cable from HDBaseT OUT on the Transmitter to HDBaseT IN on the Receiver. 
4. Connect HDMI OUT on the Receiver to the TV, monitor, or projector. 
5. Connect the included 24V/1A power adapter to either the Transmitter or the Receiver. 
6. If using IR control, connect the Wideband IR Receiver and Wideband IR Transmitter cables based on the direction of control needed. 
7. If using RS-232 control, connect the Phoenix RS-232 connectors to the control system or serial device. 
8. Power on the HDMI source, display, Transmitter, Receiver, and connected control devices. 
9. Check the ACTIVE LED on the Transmitter. 
10. Check the POWER LED, Connection Signal Indicator, and Data Signal Indicator on the Receiver. 
11. Test video, audio, IR control, RS-232 control, and PoC power operation. 

CAT Cable Requirement — Critical
